Rafal Kulik was born in 1978 in Opole. He graduated from the Faculty of Computer Science in Opole. He currently lives and works in Wrocław as a graphic designer - illustrator, painter, digital designer, and photographer. 
The main theme is images from the border of fantasy and hard science fiction as well as traditional illustrations. He draws inspiration mainly, although not always, from the "Alien" series. 
He also creates surreal images and modern collages. The philosophy that the author professes is based on the rejection of fairy-tale, commercial creation of works. The basic determinant is the interest in the shape, atmosphere and style of the first science fiction films, in which there was no artificial splendor of colors and extravagance of models, and the main goal was to build tension.
The author is no stranger to murals and illustrations of machines and vehicles, in which you can appreciate every detail.
